Get vaccinated.

It is never too late to get your flu vaccination! Even if you have already had the flu, we recommend it as you can get another strain. There are many places that offer flu vaccinations quickly and affordably, find somewhere today.

Keep your hands cleaned.

It is important to always clean your hands, however, during cold and flu season, it is even more so! Anytime you touch something someone else may have touched we recommend thoroughly washing your hand with antibacterial soap.

Invest in some hand sanitizer.

For those situations where you can’t immediately wash your hands, like in the store or at your child’s school, we recommend hand sanitizer. It can help reduce the germs and bacteria on your hand and prevent you from becoming ill.

Keep your house cleaned.

There are lots of areas in your house where viruses and bacteria can live; we recommend cleaning any hard surfaces daily, along with your faucets, doorknobs and any areas your family frequently touches.

Avoid others who may be ill.

If you have plans with someone who “thinks” they may be sick, schedule for another time. It is never worth getting sick. Likewise, if any members of your family are feeling bad, cancel any plans and stay home, relax and get better.
